Software I use, gadgets I love, and other things I recommend.
I get asked a lot about the things I use to build software, stay productive, or buy to fool myself into thinking I'm being productive when I'm really just procrastinating. Here's a big list of all of my favorite stuff.
Workstation
M4 MacBook Pro
My primary development machine. The M4 chip provides excellent performance for all my development tasks, from running multiple IDEs to handling complex builds and testing. The battery life is incredible, and it stays cool even under heavy workloads.
Rapoo Mouse
A reliable wireless mouse that provides excellent precision for coding and design work. The ergonomic design keeps my hand comfortable during long coding sessions.
Two HP Monitors
Dual monitor setup that significantly improves my productivity. I use one for my main development environment and the other for documentation, testing, or communication tools. The extra screen real estate is essential for efficient development workflows.
Development tools
JetBrains IDEs
I'm a huge fan of JetBrains IDEs. Whether it's IntelliJ IDEA for Java development, WebStorm for JavaScript/TypeScript, or PyCharm for Python, the intelligent code completion, debugging tools, and integrated terminal make development much more efficient.
Visual Studio Code
My go-to editor for quick edits, configuration files, and when I need a lightweight environment. The extensive extension ecosystem and excellent Git integration make it perfect for various development tasks.
Design & UI
Figma
My primary design tool for creating user interfaces and prototypes. The collaborative features make it easy to work with designers and stakeholders, and the component system helps maintain design consistency.
